A word about borders (boundary)
Borders divide and differentiate people geographically, socially, and psychologically. However, at the same time, the people in each region separated by borders often reconnect through cross-border activities, trade, and daily livelihoods. In this sense, boundaries have the effect of changing the characteristics of space and reconfiguring the way people live and move around.
